ミスターオリンピア，アーノルドクラシックと並ぶプロボディビルの三大コンテストとし有名なのがニューヨークプロになります．

ニューヨークプロですが，本来はその名の通りニューヨークで開催になるのですが，今年は特例でフロリダのタンパで開催となる様です．

2020 IFBB NEW YORK PRO . . . . . . HEADS SOUTH . . . . . . . . . SAME DATE SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 . . . . . . UPDATE: The 2020 IFBB New York Pro will now take place in Tampa, Florida on the same date, Saturday, September 5. フロリダのタンパというと，皆さんもご存知の通り，例年タンパプロが行われるタンパになります．

ニューヨークと言いますと，新型コロナウイルスが猛威を振るった地域の一つになりますから，それを鑑みて，今回タンパに決めたのかもしれません (ただ，プロモーターであるSteve Weinvergerはタンパで実施する理由については私の調べた限りでは明言していません．もしかすると，アーノルドクラシック 2020 in コロンバスオハイオを実施に際してコロンバスで起きた様に，地元住民の反対などがあった可能性があると思います．やはり，オリンピアのヘッドジャッジであるSteve Weinvergerがプロモータであるコンテストを実施しないという選択肢は，「彼の顔に泥を塗る」という観点でもあり得ないのだと思います．)．

今回のニューヨークプロの特徴としては，ライブスストリームがあるということでしょう．ライブストリームは，従来はミスターオリンピアとアーノルドクラシックでしか適用されてきませんでしたが，タンパプロで採用したことでかなり好評だったらしく，ニューヨークプロでも採用となったのかもしれません．
